How do I return an item?
All customer returns or claims have to be approved and accepted by a company official and must be made within 7 days of receipt of the product in question. Such approved returns will be credited in full at the discretion of a company officer upon receipt of the defective item.
NB. We regret that consumables such as Biltong and Droewors are food products and cannot be returned for exchange or credit once shipped and in compliance with
the order as placed
Kindly consider the following prior to ordering any perishable products such as boerewors: NB. Due to the nature of perishable products they cannot be returned for credit and therefore all perishable products are ordered and shipped subject to the buyers risk.
We also do not accept responsibility for losses incurred if perishables are not stored in the prescribed manner upon receipt or where an incorrect shipping address is provided or where no one is available to receive a shipped package.
Biltong orders received within 7 days of shipment will not deteriorate during transit however Biltong can develop mould if not stored correctly and should be stored frozen upon receipt if not required for immediate consumption. We do not accept liability for the condition of Biltong which has not been stored in the prescribed manner after the date delivered as confirmed by the carrier. On the basis of an order being placed through this site then the aforementioned terms are considered to be confirmed as accepted by the buyer of the order.
NB. Although we take great care in packaging your orders we do not accept any liability or claims for a meltdown in transit of chocolate orders placed and shipped during the hot summer months.
